If you're not careful, your teeth can revert back into their old positions, undoing all the progress you've made with orthodontics. To ensure this doesn't happen, your Hamden, CT, dentist will instruct you on how often to wear a retainer. This could be several nights a week or every night indefinitely. You may be able to use the last set of aligners in your treatment plan as a retainer.

Does clear aligner treatment hurt?

Orthodontic treatment using SureSmile is customized to your unique needs. Your cost will vary depending on how extensive your dental misalignment is and if you need any sort of preparatory treatment before you begin orthodontics. During your initial consultation, your dentist will provide an estimate.
Are there age requirements for SureSmile orthodontics?
There are no age requirements for clear aligners. However, if your child needs orthodontic treatment, they must be responsible enough to wear the aligner trays for the required time and be able to maintain them.
